Your Aries Full Moon Guide to Choosing Love
The Full Moon in Aries at 3° arrives on September 26th at 12:49 PM EST, illuminating the sacred relationship between who we are as individuals and who we become in relationship with another.
Falling during Libra Season, this Full Moon activates the Aries - Libra axis, bringing our attention to the relationship between I AM and WE ARE, independence and partnership, our individual desires and the love we choose to create and share.
This Full Moon feels especially serendipitous for me because it arrives on the eve of my wedding. Ed and I will be married the following day, under the light and energy of this Aries Full Moon. And as someone with Venus and Mars conjunct in Aries in my own birth chart, I couldn't have written a more meaningful cosmic backdrop for the moment we choose each other and begin this new chapter of our lives.
There is an energy created when two people choose one another with love, intention, truth, and reciprocity. Each person brings their own life force, desires, gifts, dreams, and way of moving through the world, and together they create an ecosystem that is alive, responsive, and continually evolving.
For me, harmony within a relationship is not about everything being equal in every moment. It is about tending to the energetic homeostasis of the relationship itself. There is a natural rhythm of giving and receiving, leading and allowing, creating and supporting, speaking and listening. Reciprocity keeps that energy moving so that both people and the relationship they are creating together can continue to expand.
This is where the Aries–Libra axis feels so powerful. Aries carries the energy of I AM. It is our life force, desire, passion, instinct, creativity, and the fire that moves us forward.
Libra carries the energy of WE ARE. It reminds us that who we are becomes even more meaningful through connection, collaboration, love, and the relationships we consciously choose. Together, they create a beautiful question: Who do I get to become within the relationships I choose?
The people we love can call forward parts of us that were waiting to be expressed. Partnership can expand our capacity to love, receive, create, communicate, dream, and experience life. We can inspire one another, support each other's gifts, bring new perspectives into each other's worlds, and create momentum that neither person would have created in the same way alone.
That is the magic of reciprocity. You bring your energy. I bring mine, and together, we create something new. This Full Moon illuminates the relationships, partnerships, and connections that amplify your life force energy. It asks you to notice where love is creating more possibility, where connection is inspiring you to grow, and where the people around you are reflecting back the fullest expression of who you are becoming.
Aries reminds us to stay connected to the fire within us, while Libra reminds us that our fire can become even more powerful when it is met by love, beauty, harmony, and conscious relationship.

Full Moon in Aries Ritual ~ Sacred Fire + Sacred Relationship
Aries ignites the fire of I AM, while Libra reminds us of the power of WE ARE. This ritual honors your life force energy and the relationships that amplify who you are becoming.
Gather a candle, a bowl of water, your journal, and two sacred objects: one representing you and one representing relationship. (any kind of relationship that is relevant to you now.)
Light your candle and place your hands over your heart. Take a few deep breaths and connect with your inner fire: your desires, creativity, passion, gifts, and dreams.
Say: I honor the sacred fire within me. I trust who I am and who I am becoming.
Now bring to mind the relationships that bring more love, joy, inspiration, and possibility into your life. Ask yourself: Who am I becoming through the relationships I choose?
Write what comes through, and then complete: The relationships I choose amplify __________.
Place your hands around the bowl of water and imagine the beautiful exchange of energy within sacred relationship—the love you give and receive, the ways you inspire and are inspired, and the momentum you create together.
Dip your fingertips into the water and touch your heart.
