Your New Moon in Virgo Guide to living in devotion to your sacred desires
This magical day and window of time is one where you can feel the Universe working on your behalf. It’s palpable.
The New Moon arrives at 18° Virgo, while Venus enters Scorpio, Mercury enters Libra, and Uranus stations retrograde in Gemini, all within the same day = Big Energy for your Sacred Desires.
There is a lot of energy moving through this cosmic window, but underneath it all is a beautiful invitation: Come home to what matters. Listen to what your heart truly desires and create space in your life to receive it. This is practical magic.
The New Moon is always a sacred beginning, a blank canvas, a moment to go within, and plant new seeds for what we are ready to create. Virgo brings those seeds into the Earth ~ grounding your sacred desires.
Virgo is the sacred medicine of devotion. It reminds us that our spiritual self isn't separate from our human self. The way we care for our bodies, the energy we bring into our homes, the rituals we practice, the food we eat, the boundaries we honor, the work we create, and the way we begin and end our days can all become sacred. The saying is true: How you do anything is how you do everything; this is BIG Virgo energy.
Your everyday life can become ceremony.
And that is where the magic lives during this New Moon.
This isn't about creating the perfect routine or becoming a better version of yourself. It is about asking: What deserves my devotion now? What do I really want more than anything?
This New Moon is opening a beautiful portal for sacred devotion, deeper love, embodied abundance, conscious creation, and receiving.
New Moon in Virgo Ritual for your Sacred Desires
For this New Moon, we are going to bring your desires out of the invisible and begin giving them roots.
Create a sacred space somewhere you feel comfortable and undisturbed.
Bring a candle, your journal and pen, a small bowl of water, and something from the Earth: a flower, plant, stone, crystal, herb, or anything that feels beautiful and alive to you.
You may also bring something that represents abundance or love: a favorite piece of jewelry, a coin, a photograph, perfume, rose petals, or another sacred object.
Before beginning, take a moment to make the space beautiful. Beauty itself can be part of the ritual.
Light your candle and place both feet on the Earth. Close your eyes. Place one hand over your heart and one over your lower belly. Breathe. Feel your energy returning to you.
Feel your awareness moving out of everything happening around you and back into your body.
Say aloud: I am here. I am present. I am listening. I am open to receive. Now ask yourself: What do I truly desire in this next chapter of my life? Listen and allow yourself to feel what is underneath the surface.
Which desire feels alive? Which one feels like it is asking for your devotion? Choose that one and on a separate piece of paper write: I devote my energy to ________.
Underneath it, choose one simple ritual, practice, or loving action that creates space for this desire in your everyday life. Something you can return to with love. Fold the paper toward your heart and place it beneath the Earth element on your altar.
Then say: I honor the desires within my heart. I devote myself to what I love.
I trust the wisdom within me. I am available for the love, abundance, beauty, and magic that are ready to meet me. I receive.
Place both hands over your heart. Thank yourself. Thank the Earth. Thank the Divine. Thank whatever loving presence you feel around you. Your ritual is complete.
Ritual Bath for Virgo New Moon ~ Receive + Remember
This ritual bath is about softening into your body and allowing yourself to receive.
Create your bath with warm water and add mineral or Epsom salts for cleansing and grounding. Add rose petals for love, beauty, and the heart. Add a little rosemary for Virgo's earthy medicine of purification and devotion. Add a small spoonful of honey to call in sweetness, pleasure, and abundance.
If it feels good to your body, add a few drops of lavender essential oil diluted appropriately in a carrier oil.
Light candles. Play music that makes you feel beautiful, sensual, peaceful, or deeply connected to yourself.
Before stepping into the water, stand beside the bath and take three slow breaths. As you enter, imagine the water becoming a sacred container around your body.
Let yourself soften. You don't need to manifest anything. You don't need to visualize perfectly. You don't need to do anything. Receive. Receive the warmth. Receive the water. Receive the beauty you created for yourself. Receive your own presence.
Place your hands somewhere on your body that feels loving and ask: What would it feel like to allow life to love me more? Breathe. Then ask: What am I ready to receive?
Let whatever comes through be enough. Before leaving the bath, place your hands over your heart and say: I am open. I am available to receive. Allow the water to carry away anything you no longer need as you step into this new lunar cycle.
