The Full Moon in Taurus arrives October 26 at 2°, illuminating what has come to fruition and inviting us to slow down long enough to actually receive and enjoy it. Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love, beauty, pleasure, money, worth and our values. This earthy Full Moon brings us out of our heads and back into our bodies, reminding us that abundance isn't only something we manifest for the future.
Abundance is something we are meant to experience. Taste it. Touch it. Feel it. Celebrate it.
Cook something delicious. Buy yourself the flowers. Take the long bath. Walk barefoot on the Earth. Put on music that makes your body move. Look around at your life and notice something that exists today that you once prayed for. Sometimes we become so focused on creating the next thing that we forget to receive what has already arrived.
This Full Moon asks: What abundance am I ready to fully receive and enjoy?
Taurus + Scorpio ~ Holding On & Letting Go
Every Full Moon creates an opposition, and this one illuminates the Taurus/Scorpio axis.
Taurus asks us what we value, what makes us feel safe, what nourishes us, and what we want to cultivate and sustain. Scorpio takes us beneath the surface and asks what must transform. Together, they offer us a powerful question: What is worth keeping, and what am I finally ready to release?
Something can feel familiar without actually feeling good. Something can once have made you feel safe and no longer belong in the life you are creating. And something beautiful may already be trying to reach you, but you have to create enough space to receive it.
This Full Moon is an opportunity to loosen your grip on what has completed its cycle while becoming more deeply available for what nourishes you now.
Venus Retrograde ~ Reclaiming Your Values: Venus, the ruler of Taurus, is retrograde during this Full Moon, bringing another layer of reflection to love, money, relationships, beauty, pleasure, self-worth, and receiving. What do you value now? Not five years ago. Not when you were trying to prove yourself. Not when you were surviving. Not according to what someone else told you should matter. Now. This is an opportunity to return to your True-Self values and notice whether the life you are creating actually reflects them.
Where are you settling? Where are you overgiving? Where have you confused having more with feeling abundant? And where is life asking you to soften enough to receive? You are the sacred elixir ~ The Honey. Treat yourself accordingly.
Taurus Full Moon Ritual ~ Receive What Is Already Here 🌕🌹
Create a space that feels beautiful to your senses. Light a candle. Play music. Bring in flowers, a favorite crystal, something delicious to drink and a small bowl of water.
Ground. Sit with your feet on the Earth and take several slow breaths. Bring your awareness out of your mind and into your body.
Ask yourself: What am I ready to release because it no longer reflects what I value?
Write down whatever comes through.
Then ask: What abundance is already present in my life that I am ready to fully receive? Write that down too.
Place your hands over your heart and say: I release what no longer honors my True-Self values. I open my heart and my life to receive what is meant for me. Dip your fingertips into the water and gently touch your heart and third eye.
Say: I honor this body that carries my soul. I honor my heart. I honor my Divine desires. I am available for love, pleasure, peace, and prosperity. Now choose one simple act of pleasure. Eat the chocolate. Drink the wine or tea. Smell the flowers. Dance. Step outside beneath the Moon. Take the bath. Don't rush through it. Receive it. Let pleasure itself become the ritual.
