This time every year, from July 26 to August 12, the Sun in Leo aligns with Sirius (the Spiritual Sun) and Earth, creating a cosmic window for accelerated growth, DNA healing, and manifestation. Scientifically, Sirius is the second brightest star in the sky ~ spiritually, it’s been revered as a gateway for higher consciousness since ancient Egypt.
This alignment creates an energetic stream of light codes and frequency upgrades, designed to awaken your divine potential and elevate your consciousness. As Sirius rises, it activates your soul’s memory, encouraging you to shed outdated patterns and step into your true power.
The Day Out of Time (July 25) marked the energetic reset before the portal opened.
This year's portal feels especially meaningful. Along the way, I also released relationships that no longer aligned with the woman I was becoming. That wasn't easy. I've always been a loyal, ride-or-die friend, and for a long time I believed love meant holding on at all costs. But one of the greatest lessons I've learned is that love and access are not the same thing. I discovered that not everyone will celebrate your dreams or your growth. That realization was painful, but it also became incredibly freeing. These are not your forever people.
Today, I can hold love in my heart without needing resolution, explanation, or continued access. I can wish someone well from a distance and trust that both of us are exactly where we're meant to be. Not everyone is meant to walk every chapter of your journey, and that's okay. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is bless someone, release them, and continue walking toward the life that's calling you.
Everywhere I look, I see reminders that dreams really do grow one courageous choice at a time.
And yet...The greatest transformation this year wasn't something anyone could see.
Just a few weeks ago, between July 24 and July 27, another layer of childhood trauma surfaced.
It arrived unexpectedly (and seems to be a theme that magical transformation and healing happen for me around these astro dates.) Not as a memory to analyze, but as energy that had been living in my body for decades.
There was terror. There was grief. There was rage.
Old survival patterns since I was a little girl that had remained stuck deep beneath the surface finally felt safe enough to come home... and finally be released. We don't always heal by understanding. Sometimes we heal by allowing the body to complete what it never had the chance to complete.
For me, that meant allowing my fascia, my nervous system, and even my body to release what had been carried for far too long. It wasn't comfortable. But it was liberating.
One of the greatest gifts of this season is realizing I no longer have to carry those stories in the same way. I can honor them without living inside them.
The suffering that once defined entire chapters of my life now feels like a distant shoreline. It shaped me. It taught me. But it no longer holds me back. That's why I love these sacred windows like the Lions Gate Portal. Not because they're magical shortcuts. But because they invite us into exactly the healing, courage, remembrance, and expansion we're ready for.
Sometimes they ask us to dream bigger. Sometimes they ask us to release deeper. Sometimes they ask us to simply trust.
This Lions Gate, I don't feel like I'm striving for a new life. I feel like I'm celebrating the one I've consciously created. And I know this isn't the destination. It's simply another beautiful beginning.

A candle (or access to sunlight)
A journal or paper + pen
A quiet space to sit or lie down
A bowl of water (optional: add herbs, oils, or crystals)

1. Set Your Space
Light a candle or step outside into the sunlight.
Let this be a signal to your body and spirit that you're entering sacred time. Breathe deeply. Feel yourself arrive fully in the present moment.
2. Write 8 Intentions
Grab your journal and write 8 clear, soul-aligned intentions for this next chapter.
These can be connected to your relationships, business, health, creativity, spirituality ~ anything that feels alive in your heart.
3. Heart Coherence Meditation
Place both hands over your heart.
Close your eyes and breathe slowly in and out of your heart space.
With each inhale, imagine golden light filling your chest. With each exhale, release resistance.
Stay here for 2–3 minutes. You’ll begin to feel your body settle and your heart expand.
4. Speak Your Mantras Aloud
Choose 1–3 mantras to say out loud. Let your voice carry the energy into your field.
Repeat each one slowly and with feeling, letting them land in your body.
5. Water Blessing (to Close)
